National call for Mitacs Elevate

Mitacs is currently accepting applications for Mitacs Elevate, a funded fellowship program that supports the professional development of postdoctoral fellows in Canada and builds capacity for R&D management in various academic and professional sectors. Open to recent PhD graduates, the Mitacs Elevate fellowship consists of:

• A customized professional development program that helps fellows develop career-ready skills in areas such as leadership and management, communication and professionalism.
• A peer-reviewed, two-year research project with an eligible partner organization and university faculty supervisor, with fellows typically spending half their time with each.

In addition to the research project and professional development, fellows will have multiple opportunities to connect with other PhD graduates, as well as industry representatives, potential employers and workshop facilitators throughout their fellowships.
