ECE 567 Teaching Assistant¹ Advanced Network Security	Hourly Rate: $34.72²
Term of Appointment from: January 5, 2026 to April 17, 2026
Total hours: 45	Average weekly Hours: 3

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist instructor with setting up course project environment and testing underlying attack and defensive scenarios.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

Applicants must possess an undergraduate degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or an acceptable equivalent. Registered as a Master or Ph.D. student in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Have good programming skills in JavaScript, Python, and MySQL. Have taken ECE 567 with a mark of at least 90%.

Other criteria considered include the career and/or pedagogical value a particular position will provide to the graduate/undergraduate student, the student's preferences, and other sources of graduate student financial support being received. The Department Appointment Priority Policy provides priority to Graduate Students in their academic Department or School before others. The Policy is posted in the Department and is available on request.
